WHY I AM HERE AT LA VERDAD CHRISTIAN COLLEGE?
As what we have learned from our preachers;
that in everything we do, we must do it for the glory of God. I believe that
there is a reason why I am here at La Verdad Christian College, not only
because I am aiming to have a college diploma primarily, but also to be an
instrument of God and to help our preachers to encourage the youth to believe
in the words of God.
At first, it is very difficult for me to
adjust my time and studies due to my other responsibilities in the church.
However, with God’s help, this 2nd semester
I may say that I have managed and have adjusted myself and time very well.
I was overwhelmed with the camaraderie I
experienced with my classmates; we are like one big family in our
classroom. Always helping each other, showing concerns especially to
those who are in need. Being the eldest in the classroom, I became their “Kuya”.
I’m giving advice to those with family or even financial problems and also to
those with spiritual problems as well.
As of the moment, with Gods’ help, there are
now a lot of newly baptized in our batch and they are very active in their
duties in serving God.
I am thankful to God that even though it’s
not an easy task to manage both my studies and my duty as a Regular Worker in
the Church of God, he had given me the strength and courage to overcome the
trials and hardships that came my way during my studies. I hope and pray that I
can finish my task not only as a student at La Verdad Christian College, but
also as a little instrument of God to show his glory to mankind.
